All three practices offer retinal photography, where digital images are used for detailed examination and future comparison (there is an additional fee for this service).

At Wheeldon Opticians we use the latest in optical technology to detect and prevent sight-threatening eye diseases. We have invested in an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) machine that uses state-of-the-art technology to take a 3D scan of the back of your eye.
This scan can be added to either an NHS or Private eye examination as an "enhancement".
